Send me away is an electro-punk track about the relationship between anger and insanity. Kirini’s hyper-verbal lyrics question the legitimacy and purpose of her rage, alluding more broadly to the cost of women’s anger: the way in which it is understood as invalidating their perspectives, the way in which it can provoke dangerous reactions. The instrumentation is dense and frenzied, growing more complex and chaotic as the track builds. Rob has brought his usual delicate touch to the production, lightly balancing vocals against multiple pulsing basses and drum tracks both analog and digital.
